Titanic Paper Collage

I produced a series of designs based on two images: one of the Titanic moving towards the iceberg, the other of the ship subsequently sinking. I aimed for an angular, Art Deco-ish feel, and imagined I was producing designs for fabrics, or for end-papers in books. This is a collage of prints of some of the designs.

Unlike my other work, the collage itself is not digitally generated, and the images have nothing to do with photography.
